Tino Perruzza is an experienced workplace investigator who has conducted sensitive and high-stakes investigations in many sectors. His passion for resolving conflict has allowed him to make a difference in unionized and non-unionized settings, including municipalities, law firms, sports clubs, post-secondary institutions, and other public and private sector organizations. He has investigated a variety of complex matters, including harassment and bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, and code of conduct violations.
Tino’s genuine interest in workplace law and his desire to make meaningful change has been fostered throughout his legal career. Before joining Rubin & Co. LLP, he worked as a summer student and later as an articling student at a leading labour and employment firm where he addressed human rights issues and prepared workplace policies. Those experiences demonstrated the important role that the law plays in the workplace and Tino has been guided by that understanding ever since.
Tino has spoken at webinars about mental health in the workplace and trauma-informed investigative techniques. He has also provided respect in the workplace training to different organizations in various sectors, trained human resources professionals on how to conduct workplace investigations, and written blogs and articles on a wide array of workplace topics.
Tino received his J.D. from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2021.
